Cash the 12-year-old Senior Dog or Golden Retriever must have been on Santa’s nice list this year, because he got an extra special gift for Christmas – an adorable puppy!
Cash has been a little lonely over the past few years, after owner Marie Ahonen’s other dog, Rosie, died suddenly three years ago.
But the family’s loss didn’t stop Cash from being the good boy he’s always been – so Marie decided to give him a very special surprise.
The family filmed the heartwarming moment – with the puppy gently carrying the box into the room. Cash immediately knows something is up and begins to excitedly circle box and just seconds later the lid pops off to reveal a cute puppy inside!
Cash sniffs his new friend with his nose and these two appear to bond instantly. Cash can’t contain his excitement and his tail won’t stop wagging!
