One family residing in Las Vegas had received news that their family dog, Butters, was found missing one afternoon. Butters had escaped from their family yard, via a hole he had dug under the fence. At first, no one knew why Butters would do that, though. All they wanted was Butters to return home again safely.
Butters’ family had just returned from a trip to California. Before they left, Butters had to be left behind. However, there was no one else around to take care of him. Some speculated that Butters left the yard to look for his family. In addition, Butters had shown symptoms of separation anxiety towards his family members before.
The family was frantic. They rushed home in order to put up lost dog flyers around the neighborhood, as well as to phone as many animal shelters and veterinary clinics as they could possibly can to locate Butters ASAP. There was no news of the lost pooch until after 2 weeks later.
A local mobile app created specifically to locate lost dogs alerted the family that Butters had been found – he was discovered in front of someone else’s doorstep, at the end of the street at 3 am! One of Butters’ family members hurriedly drove all the way there to fetch the lost dog back home safely. All she had to do was to call out to him, and he hopped into her car right away!
Butters is now safely home, much to the joy of his dad!
