Whenever the staff from Hope For Paws are on the job, that means a successful rescue story. Recently, they got a call about a dog in distress. The rescuers feared for its safety because it was lying in the trash by the side of the road and could be easily hurt by a vehicle. However, when they approached, the dog didn’t move an inch which made volunteers assume something was wrong.
Eldad, the founder of this rescue organization, used a well-known method in order to get the dog out of the trash. He offered a juicy cheeseburger, and the poor pup that was obviously hungry couldn’t resist. Once Chico stood up, Eldad could see he was in a good condition but felt insecure to leave the trash that somehow became his shelter.
Eldad decided to show him how he would be perfectly safe if he came with him so he took it in his arms and pet him on the head, after which they headed to the shelter.
Chico is one lucky dog, because once he was all cleaned up, he found his forever home.
