A woman named Saramba from Santa Ana, California detected a tiny kitten Teagan under a car in critical condition. The kitty was extremely malnourished, flea infested, anemic, and had a severe upper respiratory infection. Saramba took the kitten upon herself and decided to save her.

Found Kitten

Worried that the kitten might die, Saramba held her close to her chest to keep her warm while finding help to save the kitten on social media. Teagan was very weak, she was just skin and bones. But the kind woman didn’t give up, she took the kitten to the vet. Teagan was given a flea bath, antibiotics and ointment for her eyes. Thank for helping and loving of Saramba, she got a full belly and a warm bed to sleep that night.
Teagan was moved to Friends for Life Rescue Network in Los Angeles to continue her foster journey. She has made leaps and bounds and is now a very healthy girl. No one knew if this little kitten would survive that day, but her rescuer refused to give up.

Saramba was determined to save her.

Found Kitten

“I was afraid she was not going to make it,” Saramba said.

The woman was not willing to give up. She was advised to take the kitten to the vet.

“That initial care is so important and the finder took it upon herself to get her treated,” Jacqueline DeAmor, co-founder of Friends for Life Rescue Network, told Love Meow.

“She has the biggest eyes and is super playful. She’s also a purr machine and loves attention.”
